Celebrating its opening this month, That Pizza Place serves up 40 specialty pies.

HUDSON, FL — In a market where pizzerias abound, best friends and military veterans Charlie McCarron and Tommy DeNardo are offering pizza lovers a choice of 40 specialty pies they won't find anywhere else.

That Pizza Place, 8216 State Road 52 in Hudson, opened this month and specializes in the New York-, New Jersey and Philly-style pizzas McCarron and DeNardo grew up eating.

The opening of the pizzeria fulfills a longtime dream the best friends have had to open a pizzeria that will serve as not only a place to share pizza but as a place that brings the community together.
