Search For Pasco Woman Continues 19 Years Later
Pasco County detectives are searching for fresh leads in the 1998 disappearance of a Hudson woman.

HUDSON, FL — Diane Augat left her Cobblestone Drive home in Hudson on April 10, 1998. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Diane’s mother reported her missing on April 11, 1998. Shortly after the then-40-year-old woman was reported missing, a severed finger was found on the roadside near the intersection of U.S. 19 and Hudson Avenue. Fingerprint analysis confirmed the finger belonged to Diane, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.
What happened to Diane, however, remains a mystery.

Pasco County Detectives Todd Koenig and Tim Harris are working to unravel that mystery. The duo took over the county’s cold cases late last year, a load that includes more than 50 other files like Diane’s.
Koenig said the two are seeking new leads in cases that are years old to bring closure to victims and their families.
