Sex Molestation Added on To Inmates's Charges

Investigators are piling new charges on Dennis Machmer, who was already in jail on accusations of engaging in sexual activity with a boy and producing pornography.

Back in May, Machmer, 68, of Holiday, was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious battery after a woman told a Pasco County Sheriff’s deputy she found a video on a computer of him engaging in sexual activity with the boy.

Last month, deputies said they found a video showing the man with his genitals exposed. It showed the man performing sex acts on the 15-year-old.

Now, Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies say that in the summer of 2010, Machmer showed a different boy, age 16, pornographic movies several times. On one occasion, Machmer performed a sex act on him.

So, they've now added to his list of offenses a new charge of lewd or lascivious molestation and a count of child abuse.

So, Machmer's charges now include:

• Lewd or lascivious battery
• Direct promoyion of sexual performance by a child
• Lewd or lascivious molestation
• Child Abuse

He remained in the Land O' lakes jail Tuesday in lieu of $360,000 bail.
