Speeding Motorcyclist Dies After Hitting Pole: FL Highway Patrol
A 23-year-old Wesley Chapel man died after losing control of his motorcycle and hitting a light pole, FL Highway Patrol said.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — A 23-year-old Wesley Chapel man died after losing control of his motorcycle while speeding on Thursday afternoon, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
He was heading north on Wesley Chapel Boulevard just before 12:30 p.m. when he lost control near Progress Parkway.
His motorcycle left the road and hit a street sign and, finally, a light pole, FHP said.
