Starkey Park To Host 2016 Wilderness Wonderland Celebration of Lights

The drive-through event will take place over two weekends in the Pasco County preserve.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – The Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park is widely known for its miles and miles of nature trails for walkers, bikers, skaters and horses.

For two weekends, the park’s trials will transform into a lighted winter wonderland.

The park, located at 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd. in New Port Richey, will host the Wilderness Wonderland Celebration of Lights Drive Thru Event. The event takes place Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 8-11 and Dec. 15-18 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Passenger vehicles will be able to drive through and enjoy the dancing lights coordinated to popular holiday music. The entry fee for the event is $2 per vehicle.

The Wilderness Wonderland Celebration of Lights is sponsored by the Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Department.
