PASCO COUNTY, FL — A Tampa woman was killed in an early Sunday morning crash on Interstate 75 in Pasco County, Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release. The crash happened south of State Road 52 just before 2 a.m.A 30-year-old Tampa man was driving south on the interstate when he overtook another vehicle and had to take action to avoid a collision, FHP said. He lost control of his car, which rotated to the highway shoulder and hit a tree.His passenger, a 28-year-old woman, was killed on impact, FHP said.
