Thunderstorms Could Miss West Pasco today
But we're still under a severe storm watch until 8 p.m. today.

A severe thunderstorm watchhas been issued for Pasco County and the rest of Tampa Bay until 8 p.m. today, June 15, but it looks like the storms will veer away from New Port Richey.
The chance New Port Richey and surrounding West Pasco will see the storms “looks very slim,” said Eric Oglesby, a forecaster with the National Weather Service in Ruskin.
Chances of rain or storms will hover at at least 20 percent through the end of the week, Oglesby said. That’s a lower likelihood than normal. Usually, there's a 40-50 percent chance of storms at this time of year.
