Trinity's Trade Offers A Community Marketplace Online

A Trinity woman created a space for people to buy, sell, trade and advertise on Facebook.

A new local marketplace has popped up online.

Mary Leffingwell recently started Trinity’s Trade, a Facebook group in which members can buy, sell, trade and advertise items and services with each other.  The group is free to join.

The title Trinity’s Trade, refers to the Trinity community, where Leffingwell lives.

“But everyone is welcome,” Leffingwell said. “It's up to the buyer and seller where they would like to meet up.”

Group members can post their requests and offerings on the Trinity’s Trade page. Leffingwell, a homemaker, also posts information on couponing, store specials and events in Pasco County.

Here’s some of what you’ll find in there right now: toys, wall hanging, baskets, purses and much more.

“So far,  some of the people I have spoken to like the fact that I post the couponing information, and events that are happening in our community,” Leffingwell said. “Plus, they’re making a little extra cash for their gently used items.”

Leffingwell started the group about a week ago, and she administers it with her two sons. Trinity’s Trade is a closed group is closed, but anyone can participate after being granted permission by the administrators. You'll find it on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/mleffingwell02/
