Patch freelancer Daylina Miller is getting a chance to witness a day in the life of an officer of the New Port Richey Police Department.

Daylina will be joining officer Joe Ioppolo on patrol for the day shift Friday, March 30.

She has lots of questions about Ioppolo, who joined the force in May 2011, and his job as a police officer in the city.
