What's Open, Closed During Christmas Holiday In Pasco County
These government offices will be closed for the holiday.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County Board of Commissioners offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 26, in observance of Christmas. Government offices will reopen Tuesday, Dec. 27.
The Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources’ offices, recreation complexes and community centers will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 26.
Parks and beaches will remain open to the public from dawn to dusk.

Pasco County Public Transportation (GoPasco) will be open Saturday, Dec. 24. Fixed route and paratransit services will end by 6:30 p.m. (Visit Rider Alerts for details).

The Pasco County Animal Services administration office, adoption center, intake/reclaim shelter and field services will close at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24. An animal control officer will be available for emergencies only.
The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco Transfer Station will be closed to the public Saturday, Dec. 24, however, they’ll be open to Pasco County licensed commercial haulers. They will reopen to the public Monday, Dec. 26.
The five Pasco County Tax Collector offices will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 26.
Additionally, the offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 2.
All Pasco County library branches will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 24 to Monday, Dec. 26.
The lobbies at all Pasco County Sheriff's Office locations, Property Evidence & Records Office and Child Protective Investigations Office will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26. If you need to report a crime, dial 911 for emergencies or 727-847-8102, option 7, for non-emergencies.
New Port Richey
All city hall offices will close at noon on Friday, Dec. 23, for the Christmas Eve holiday.
The library will remain open normal business hours and the recreation & aquatic center will operate on its normal holiday hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
