Woman Hit By Propane Tanker Truck Dies: FL Highway Patrol
The woman was crossing State Road 54 in Pasco County early Monday as the propane trucker turned under a red traffic light, FL troopers said.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A woman hit by a propane tanker Monday morning in Pasco County died from her injuries, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The 43-year-old woman was walking north on State Road 54 just before 6 a.m. when she stepped into the truck’s path as it traveled west in the road’s right turn lane at the intersection of Grand Boulevard.
The victim was in the crosswalk when she was hit by the truck as it turned north onto Grand Boulevard under a red traffic signal, FHP said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The condition of the truck’s driver, a 62-year-old Hudson man, wasn’t reported by FHP.
