Woman Left Child, 2, with Undercover Deputy During Drug Sale

She told an undercover investigator she would be right back with his pills, then left a 2-year-old boy with the deputy.

Then Summer Bliss Wilkerson of New Port Richey did not return, according to a Pasco County complaint affidavit.

According to the report, the undercover deputy provided Wilkerson, 26, with $230 in exchange for Dilauded pills. Wilkerson was supposed to provide 10 pills for that amount, and told the deputy she needed to "go to a friend's house" to get the rest, the report stated.

Wilkerson then left, leaving the toddler behind in the deputy's care. Wilkerson did not return with the money or the pills, even after the deputy called her multiple times and sent texts stating that she needed to come back for the child, according to the report.

After about an hour, the deputy knocked on the door of the residence and gave the child to Wilkerson's boyfriend, "who has no relation to the child," the report stated.

Wilkerson was arrested and charged with two counts of both sale and possession of a controlled substance and child neglect. She remained in the Land O' Lakes jail Friday in lieu of $35,000 bond.
