PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 21-year-old Land O' Lakes woman died Thursday morning after running across State Road 54 and being hit by a car, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release. The crash happened around 5 a.m. when she ran into the path of a car heading east on the highway, west of Collier Parkway. She was brought to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries. PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 21-year-old Land O’ Lakes woman died Thursday morning after running across State Road 54 and being hit by a car, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. when she ran into the path of a car heading east on the highway, west of Collier Parkway. She was brought to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

FHP didn’t share whether the car’s driver, a 20-year-old Tampa man, was injured in the crash.See Also:
