Woman Traveling With 14-Year-Old Son Suffers Emergency In Pasco County

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 46-year-old Lecanto woman died early Thursday morning after experiencing a medical emergency on the Suncoast Parkway north of State Road 54.

At 4:52 a.m., Florida Highway Patrol troopers and road rangers responded to a Nissan sedan that was stopped in the northbound travel lanes of the Suncoast Parkway.

It was occupied by a woman and her 14-year-old son. The woman was experiencing a medical emergency. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.
