East Lake Hockey Team Wins 2nd Lightning Cup Championship
East Lake High School Senior Austin Teall scored two goals, including the game-winning goal.

The East Lake Eagles are champs again. Wednesday evening, East Lake High School's hockey team won the Lightning Conference Cup for the second year in a row.
The team beat New Port Richey's Mitchell High School 3 to 1 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
East Lake Senior Austin Teall scored two goals, including the game-winning goal.

“It’s a really, really excellent feeling,” Teall told the Tampa Bay Times. “It’s indescribable to come out and play so well.”
Teall made the winning score with less than eight minutes left to play in the game.

East Lake joins Manatee High School as the second team to win the championship twice, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
