4. Catherine L. Esty (leesburg-news.com) — Pensacola readers are remembering Catherine L. Esty, a devoted mother and longtime civil servant who retired as secretary to the director at Naval Air Station Pensacola and was active at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Though she later lived in Leesburg, her sons and many relatives remain in Pensacola, where her legacy of selflessness, family devotion, and community involvement continues to be cherished.
