5 Things: Future of Lido Pool, US 41 Construction and More
The Lido Key Residents' Association thinks the Lido Beach pool and pavilion could be a self-supporting enterprise, and not the money pit city officials fear.

1. Lido Key Residents' Association will prepare to unveil what they think should be done with the city-owned Lido Beach Pool and Pavilion to save it on Jan. 17 at the City Commission meeting.
2. Florida Department of Transporation wants to know your thoughts about proposed construction on Tamiami Trail and Clark Road. You'll have your chance to do so on Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church, 2035 Magnolia St. from 5 to 7 p.m.
3. And another chance for free speech, at 1741 Main St., in front of the building to send a message to Florida lawmakers and Gov. Rick Scott.
