  • Van Wezel Foundation might be singing the blues with this week after the City Commission told the foundation's board chairman that this commission will be taking a closer look at the discussions that were prompted by the previous commission on the future of the hall's management. The city says the foundation can raise money now and should have to hit a target before it turns over the keys.

  • Hog and Harley lovers will take over Sarasota streets this weekend for the 14th annual Thunder by the Bay. Proceeds from the event benefit Suncoast Charities for Children.
