Bradenton Man Arrested For Central Snappy Robbery
A 25-year-old Bradenton man has been taken into custody in connection with an armed robbery at the Central Snappy convenience store.

SARASOTA, FL — A 25-year-old Bradenton man has been taken into custody in connection with an armed robbery at the Central Snappy convenience store earlier this week in Sarasota. The store is located at 1159 Central Avenue.
Ryheme Livingston was charged with robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon following Sunday's robbery that occurred around 4:15 p.m.

"Detectives believe Livingston walked into the store and pointed a gun at the clerk," according to Sarasota police. "The clerk told detectives he recognized Livingston, thought he was joking and told him to stop."

Livingston allegedly continued to point the gun at the clerk and told him to get down on the floor.

"Livingston asked the clerk where the money was, and he pointed to a bag under the counter," Sarasota police explained. "Livingston grabbed the bag and ran out of the store with an unknown amount of cash."

Police said Livingston was arrested during a traffic stop on Thursday. He was initially charged with driving with a suspended license and a drug offense.
"Livingston was then taken to the Sarasota Police Department to be interviewed about the robbery," police said in announcing the charges Friday. "Following the interview, Livingston was arrested for robbery with a firearm."
Livingston was being held at Sarasota County Jail.
