Dads Eat Free At McDonald’s

SARASOTA, FL — Tampa Bay area dads who like starting their mornings off with crispy hash browns and Egg McMuffin sandwiches might want to set a course for their local McDonald’s Father’s Day morning. Stores throughout the Tampa Bay area have announced plans to serve up breakfast for dads at no charge Sunday, June 18.

While all dads are eligible to cash in on the offer at any of the region’s 207 participating McDonald’s locations there are a few caveats to the deal. “This special Father’s Day offer is available during breakfast hours and when ordering inside at the front counter,” the chain explained in an email to media.

The offer is good from roughly 5:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday morning. Dads must also be accompanied by a child to get the freebie, which includes a breakfast sandwich or entrée along with a small orange juice, McCafe coffee or soft drink. Customers may only get one free offer per visit.

Last year, more than 11,200 dads were treated to breakfast on the house at McDonald’s locations throughout the Tampa Bay area. McDonald’s Tampa Bay covers a 13-county region that includes Sarasota, Pasco, Manatee, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Polk counties.
