New Nonstop Daily Flight To Connect 2 Major FL Cities Later This Year
American Airlines is launching daily nonstop flights between Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and Miami this fall.
SARASOTA, FL — American Airlines will launch a new nonstop service between Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and Miami later this year.
The daily service will begin Nov. 3, according to an airport news release.
“We are thrilled to announce that American Airlines will be adding Miami, FL (MIA) as their sixth nonstop destination from SRQ, “Rick Piccolo, president and CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, said. “American Airlines currently offers nonstop service from SRQ to Charlotte, NC (CLT), Washington, D.C. (DCA), Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (DFW), Chicago, IL (ORD), and Philadelphia, PA (PHL)."

The flights will be operated on a 76-seat Embraer 175 jet offering travelers first class, main cabin extra and main cabin seats.
Flights will leave Sarasota at 6:30 a.m. and arrive at Miami International Airport at 7:40 a.m.

The return flight will leave Miami at 9:30 p.m. and land in Sarasota at 10:40 p.m.
“American is pleased to connect Sarasota with our Miami hub,” Jordan Pack, American’s director of domestic network planning, said. “Miami is our gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, and with this service, customers will be able to connect to more than 60 destinations in the region to explore vibrant Puerto Rico, relax on the beaches of Aruba, or taste the coffee in Colombia, and much more.”
