Elderly Sarasota Driver Dies After Crash
The 89-year-old driver turned his vehicle into the path of another car. He died later from his injuries.
An 89-year-old Sarasota driver has died from his injuries following a crash Thursday at the intersection of Bee Ridge Road and Heritage Oaks Road.
Barney R. Radov was driving his 2000 Buick when he turned his vehicle into the path of a 1999 Buick driven by Peggy L. Creadon.
Creadon swerved her vehicle but could not avoid a collision
Radov was taken to Blake Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Creadon, 63, remains hospitalized at Doctors Hospital with serious injuries.
The accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
