5 Things: It's Cold, David Bowie's Old, Matisyahu and more
Three radio stations and Sarasota Music Scene will throw a birthday bash for David Bowie this weekend.

4. Sarasota Music Scene spotted quite a gig for the indie rap crowd in Sarasota coming in March. Rapper, and proud Hasidic Jew, Matisyahu will perform an acoustic set March 3 at . Tickets are $36 and $18 for students with ID. The concert is organized by the Jewish Federation and Chris Alexander.
5. Speaking of big deals, Sarasota Music Scene and radio stations WSLR, WMNF and BAAMO is throwing a huge 65th Birthday Party Tribute to David Bowie. It's three nights long, starting Friday. David Bowie's publicist Tony Michaelidies is slated to appear on Sunday to share some behind-the-scenes Bowie, too.
