House Watch Sarasota Launches as Independent Business

House Watch Sarasota, which had been operating under the umbrella of Girl Friday Sarasota since 2009, has relaunched as an independent business serving Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Tenille Pawlus, founder and owner of Girl Friday Sarasota, expanded her cleaning and concierge business to include the home watch service in 2009. Pawlus and her husband, U.S. Navy veteran Peter Pawlus, have relaunched House Watch Sarasota as its own entity.

Pawlus stated, “With Peter joining me in the house watch service, we are able to offer more robust, hands-on services to keep clients’ homes safe and cared for while they are away. Peter’s knowledge of all things mechanical and his ability to handle light repairs add a new level of support to the business.”

The basic House Watch Sarasota service consists of 90-point inspection visits to the home, which include checking the inside and outside of the property thoroughly, ensuring everything is secure, and making sure all is well with the air conditioner, plumbing, electric, landscaping, and pool. Pre- and post-hurricane services, and other additional services such as alarm calls and furniture delivery, are also available.
