Record Number Of Passengers Traveled Through Sarasota Bradenton Airport In 2025

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport saw a record-breaking year for travel in 2025 and ended the year strong in December.

SARASOTA-BRADENTON, FL — A record-breaking number of passengers traveled through Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in 2025, according to a news release.

The airport welcomed more than 4.5 million travelers throughout the year.

That represented a 6.34 percent increase over 2024, which saw 4.24 million passengers come through the airport.

The airport ended the year with a busy December. During the busy holiday month, more than 417,000 passengers traveled through the airport — a 3.05 percent over December 2024, which saw just over 405,000 travelers.

“The continued growth we have experienced at SRQ over the past several years has been exceptional,” Paul Hoback, Jr., airport president and CEO, said. “Surpassing 4.5 million passengers in 2025 is an important milestone and reflects strong demand for affordable and reliable air service. We remain focused on supporting our airline partners, enhancing the passenger experience, and meeting the long-term needs of our community and region.”
