40 Pounds Of Cannabis Found In Sarasota Drug Bust, Man Arrested
After a search warrant at a Sarasota home, a man was arrested on multiple drug and gun charges, police said.
SARASOTA, FL — A man faces multiple charges after being arrested Friday in a Sarasota drug bust, authorities said.
Kenneth Scriven was charged with maintaining a dwelling where controlled substances are illegally kept, armed trafficking of cannabis, five counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of narcotics paraphernalia, Sarasota police wrote in a Facebook post.
Working with the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, police conducted a search warrant at an apartment on Hidden Lakes Drive.

They found about 40 pounds of cannabis, drug paraphernalia and five guns, police said.
