FL Man Arrested On 34 Child Porn Charges

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — An Arcadia man was arrested Tuesday on more than 30 child pornography charges, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Colton Clark, 29, was charged with 24 counts of transmission of child pornography and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

SCSO detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children unit began investigating Clark last year after receiving a tip about him, the sheriff’s office said.

Clark was arrested in Sarasota County without incident and is in custody at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility.

The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office also helped with the investigation.
