New App Helps Answer Pet Emergency Questions

You may know the signs of when your kid is getting a fever or feeling under the weather, but those types of questions may be harder to tell for a pet.

A new, local app hopes to answer those questions easily when it comes to pet emergencies.

of Sarasota now has a smartpone app that gives information about how to get medical care quickly for pets, including surgery, 24 hours a day, the animal hospital announced in a press release.

The app features a link to call the hospital, map it, links of interest for pet care questions and the animal hospital's blog.

The app and new mobile site was developed by Sarasota's own Edelsbacher Design Group. The app is available for iPhones, iPads, BlackBerry, and Android devices.

The app can be found in iTunes, Android Market and BlackBerry AppWorld by searching for Critical Care and Veterinary Specialists of Sarasota.
