Police Release 911 Calls of Weekend Shooting
Sarasota Police and the Sheriff's Office release 911 calls made in response to a shooting that killed one woman and injured four others.

Naomi M. Clyburn, 22, was fatally shot outside her home on 30th Street, said Capt. Paul Sutton of the . Four other people were also shot in the area of 30th Street and Leon Avenue at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, he said.
The calls were redacted to protect sensitive information about the callers, police said.

One caller said he was lying in bed with his windows open and heard the gunfire.

"I don't know if you'll get any more calls, but that was crazy because it just kept going," one caller said to 911. "I'm saying at least 20 to 30 rounds."
"I have two guns myself and I know what I heard – that was serious."
"I heard one (gun) shooting back," he added.
Police have no indication that anyone shot back at the suspects, but there were two shooters, Sutton told Patch.
In another call, a man appears to be frantic reporting the shooting and giving the description of the Chevrolet Silverado truck that was seen at the scene. The dispatch operator had to call the man back to get more information.
Another caller was awakened by the gunfire; as he spoke to the 911 dispatecher, a 24-year-old shooting victim approached him. "He got a rag 'round his hand, he's bleedin'," the caller told 911.
The fourth call to 911 was from a woman, who then was disconnected. The dispatcher dialed the number back, and a man answered this time.
"Oh God, oh God, oh God," the man, said as noise from a crowd could be heard in the background.
Three male victims were transported to for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The other shooting victim, a female, was transported to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton for a serious injury.
Witnesses told police shots were fired from an aqua blue Chevrolet pick-up truck with custom wheels and tinted windowsl the vehicle was found abandoned on Cocoanut Avenue near Highland, Sutton said.
Sutton said the photos have generated leads and tips from the community, but no arrests have been made.
