SARASOTA, FL — Two people were killed in a Wednesday night shooting in Sarasota, authorities said.

Deputies responded to a disturbance at a home in the 1600 block of Stickney Point Road around 9 p.m., according to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Investigators found two people with gunshot wounds inside the home.
