NAPLES, FL — “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven on the Netflix show, and her fiancé Jake Bongiovi — son of musician Jon Bon Jovi — stopped by the Humane Society Naples Saturday, the organization said in a news release.

The couple left with HSN resident Shark, who has started a new journey with Brown’s animal rescue, Joey’s Friends.

Now renamed Jabba, the dog is a one-year-old French bulldog, according to the rescue’s website.

“Millie and Jake were so very pleasant and down to earth, focused solely on the well-being of our animals,” Dave Feenan, HSN chief of development and marketing, said. “At first our staff did not even realize who they were, they seemed like just another young couple looking for a pet to adopt. Like many people who visit our shelter, they fell in love with one of our residents, Shark. It was a very positive and happy experience. They couldn’t have been nicer and they were obviously there for the right reason, to give a homeless animal a bright future.”

In honor of the actress’ generosity, one of the current HSN dogs, Big Brown, was renamed Millie.
