Vice President Joe Biden Coming to Sarasota, Orlando to Stump for Hillary Clinton

SARASOTA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who want to see Vice President Joe Biden in person before he leaves office early next year will get their chance on Monday. Biden is scheduled to make appearances on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign in Sarasota and Orlando.

“With more people voting in this election than any in history, Vice President Biden will urge Florida voters to visit iwillvote.com to check their registration status and to get registered by October 11 to make their voices heard this election,” an email from the Clinton campaign said.

The location and time for the Oct. 3 rally in Orlando has not been announced. Free tickets, however, are available via the Clinton campaign website. A firm time and location for the Oct. 3 Sarasota rally has also not yet been announced. Free tickets are available on the campaign website though.

In addition to urging voters to check their registration status, Biden is expected to “discuss Hillary Clinton’s vision for an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,” the website reports.

Clinton has a slight lead over Republican Donald Trump in the polls as of Thursday. Real Clear Politics gave Clinton a 3-point advantage nationally.
