Hillsborough Zone B Residents, Time To Evacuate, Says County
Hillsborough County residents in zones A and B and those living in mobile homes must evacuate by 9 p.m. Tuesday.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County has issued a mandatory evacuation for Zone B starting at noon Tuesday ahead of Hurricane Ian.
All residents in Zone A, Zone B, those in mobile or manufactured homes, and those in low-lying areas prone to flooding must be evacuated by 9 p.m. tonight.

The Hillsborough Transit Authority will operate fare-free in zones with mandatory evacuations until 9 p.m. For more information, visit GoHart.org or call HART Customer Service at 813-254-4278.

Sandbags Locations At Capacity
All sandbag locations in Hillsborough County are at capacity. Residents who are not currently in a
line waiting for sandbags are asked not to drive to a site.

All Hillsborough County offices and facilities are closed to allow staff to focus on the emergency response to Hurricane Ian.
The closure includes all county libraries, parks, preserves and recreation centers. All county public meetings have also been postponed.
The Veterans Memorial Park open house scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed. The open house will be rescheduled at a later date.
