Chilly conditions aren't expected to stick around west central Florida much longer.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents and visitors who didn't enjoy the sharp drop in temperatures over the weekend should find the forecast for the next few days more to their liking. A warming trend is on the way that should bring daily highs back up into the upper 70s to low 80s before the workweek comes to a close.
Monday is expected to kick things off with somewhat brisk conditions though. According to the National Weather Service, the day’s high isn’t anticipated to rise beyond the upper 60s. Sunny conditions, however, are likely throughout the day. Jackets could be in order during the overnight hours with lows in the low 40s forecast for the region.

While rain and hazardous weather aren’t in the forecast for the week ahead, forecasters warn that conditions on local waters might be a bit choppy in the overnight hours this week. Cautionary level winds are possible in the evening hours over the next few days, the service warned in Monday’s Hazardous Weather Outlook report. That means small craft operators might want to check on conditions before heading out on the water.
