Suspect Threatened Little Caesars Workers In Tampa With Gun: Watch

The armed robbery suspect was unable to open the safe and left the Tampa Little Caesars without any money, police said.

TAMPA, FL — Investigators are looking for an armed robbery suspect who threatened two employees of a Little Caesars Sunday night, according to a Tampa Police Department news release. (Watch a surveillance footage video of the suspect below.)

The suspect went into the restaurant at 6932 N. Armenia Ave. just before 7:30 p.m.

When he pulled out a gun to threaten the workers, they ran into the back of the restaurant, police said. There were no injuries.

The suspect tried to access the safe, but was unable to open it and left without any money.

He is a white or Hispanic man about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds with “a noticeable ‘pot belly,’” police said.

His face was completely covered by a multicolored mask and he was wearing a dark sweatshirt, jeans with multiple designs, and white tennis shoes.
