U2 Ready To Rock Raymond James Stadium

The Irish rock legends are bringing their Joshua Tree Tour 2017 to Tampa later this year.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area U2 fans will get the opportunity to see the Irish rock legends live later this year. The band has announced a stop at Raymond James Stadium on its upcoming “U2: The Joshua Tree Tour 2017.”

The tour kicks off in Canada in May with appearances across North America on the schedule, including a headline performance at Nashville’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. The stop in Tampa is set for Wednesday, June 14. There’s also a Miami show on the schedule June 11.

The band’s 2017 tour commemorates the 30th anniversary of “The Joshua Tree” album. Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers and One Republic are lined up to join the tour on the North American leg.

Tickets for North American dates, including Tampa’s tour stop, are set to go on sale Jan. 17. Exclusive priority presale tickets will be made available to U2.com subscribers starting at 9 a.m. Jan. 11. There’s a four-ticket limit for subscriber purchases and a six-ticket limit for public sales that start Jan. 17.

Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster outlets. The prices for the Tampa show range from $35 to $280, according to Ticketmaster.com.
