14-Year-Old Homicide Suspect Sought by Police
A grand jury has indicted 14-year-old Franco Thomas as an adult for 1st degree murder, according to police

St. Petersburg Police are searching for 14-year-old Franco Thomas, who is wanted for , which took place on July 8 on the front lawn at 3632 Sea Robin Dr.
A grand jury has indicted Thomas as an adult for 1st degree murder, according to police.
Since the homicide, detectives have had contact with Thomas' family who has secured legal counsel for him, according to police. His last known address is 7041 53 St. N, Pinellas Park.

In the past several weeks, police said the family has agreed to turn him over to authorities, but so far they have yet to follow through and Thomas remains at large.
Police suspect that Thomas' family is fully aware of his location and maybe actively hiding him to avoid arrest, according to authorities.

Detectives are seeking the public's assistance and are offering a reward for information that leads to Thomas' whereabouts and arrest. Anyone with information on Thomas's location can call the St. Petersburg Police

According to police, the previously Detwiller and Hill had conspired to rob Mayers, 20, upon his arrival at 3632 Sea Robin Dr. on July 8.
During the robbery the two suspects allegedly, using a shotgun, beat and chocked Mayors to the point of unconsciousness and then fled the area, police said. The two suspects, police said, stole Mayer’s cell phone, wallet and his green 200 Chevrolet Impala.
