Victim In A Second Shooting That Occurred Thursday In St. Pete In Critical Condition

St. Petersburg police are investigating two shootings that happened Thursday. The second one occurred following a fight near Ana Food Store.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Detectives with the St. Petersburg Police Department investigated two unrelated shootings at separate locations Thursday. St. Pete police said.

The first one occurred in Coquina Key at about 5 p.m., and the victim experienced non-life-threatening injuries, investigators said.

For the second shooting, a man walked in the rear parking lot of the Ana Food Store in the 1400 block of 16th Street South at about 9:45 p.m when another man walk over to him, detectives said.

Following a fight they got into, the victim was shot by the other man. Emergency Medical Services took him to a local hospital where doctors last listed him in critical condition.
