Ballot Dropoff Sites Announced for August 14 Primary
August Primary Ballots, "Scrubbin Da' Burg", Michael Bolton, St. Pete Swim Meet and Patch Newsletters are five things you need to know today.

1. Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark announces that voted ballots can be dropped off at any of the three Elections Offices. Starting July 30, 11 remote ballot dropoff sites will also be available, as in past elections. All mail ballots must be received by 7 p.m. Election Day.
Supervisor of Elections Offices are located in:
- County Courthouse, Room 117, 315 Court St., Clearwater
- Starkey Lakes Corporate Center, 13001 Starkey Rd., Largo (**Drive-through at this location July 30-August 14)
- County Building, 501 1st Ave. N., St. Petersburg.
2. St. Petersburg Teens celebrate “Its Starts in Parks Day,” Thursday, July 26, at 9:30 a.m. with the “Scrubbin Da’ Burg” event. Over 850 teen summer camp participants from recreation centers donate their time and energy to spruce our community. Busloads of youth will spread across the community to pick up trash, landscaping, clean up parks, mulch, shoreline pick-up, tree planting and more.

3. Michael Bolton, the multi-Grammy award-winning, iconic voice on over 53 million records sold, with hits like “When a Man Loves a Woman”, “How am I Supposed to Live Without You”, “Time, Love and Tenderness,” “How Can We be Lovers” and “Georgia on my Mind” is coming to the . Tickets for the Dec. 6 performance go on sale Friday.
4. The city hosts the Area 3/5 Swim Championships beginning Friday, July 27, at North Shore Pool. More than 2,500 swim fans are expected to gather at North Shore Pool starting at 5 p.m. Friday for the annual swim meet sponsored by St. Petersburg Aquatics. The meet runs through Sunday, July 29.
