The Seminole Middle School student sent photos of himself holding handguns to a classmate and threatened a shooting, PCSO said.
SEMINOLE, FL — An 11-year-old Seminole Middle School student was arrested Tuesday for making written threats to commit a mass shooting, according to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Though PCSO named the boy, it’s Patch policy not to name minors accused of a crime unless they’ve been charged as an adult. It’s unknown whether he has been charged as a juvenile or an adult.
The boy sent photos of himself holding handguns to a classmate and threatened to shoot and kill several students at the school the following day, detectives said.
