A Car Erupted Into Flames On The Howard Frankland Bridge Friday Evening

A vehicle burst into flames on the shoulder of the Howard Frankland Bridge near the Fourth Street North exit.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A car burst into flames on the Howard Frankland Bridge's St. Petersburg side Friday evening, according to multiple outlets.

Traffic was moving slowly in the Interstate 275 southbound lanes before the Fourth Street exit.

The fire has been extinguished, according to WTSP. The two outside lanes were still closed at 5:40 p.m.
