Chamber of Commerce Has New President, CEO

ST. PETERSBURG - Chris Steinocher is the new president and Chief Executive Officer of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. He assumed his post Feb. 1.

Steinocher has been Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing & Business Development with the Tampa Bay Partnership.

He joined the Tampa Bay Partnership at its inception and has more than 25 years experience in community development, advertising, and brand marketing and sales, predominately in the Tampa Bay market.

The Tampa Bay Partnership is a CEO-led regional economic development organization that was founded in 1994.

The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest chambers in the Tampa Bay region with approximately 2,000 members.
