Chillounge Is Tonight in Downtown St. Pete

Grab a sweater or perhaps a cozy blanket. Chillounge Night is back.

Enjoy cocktails and food and live music while lounging on an outdoor cabana or daybed, under the stars, in North Straub Park.

Lounge areas are scattered throughout the park, so guests can find their own piece of comfort or enjoy their own private parties while mingling with everyone else.

The trees will be strung with tiny white lights that illuminate the park once the sun goes down. So there is no chance that guests will not be able to see the waiters as they walk by with scrumptious food and drinks.

Consider this an urban camping trip for well-heeled party goers, except for one thing. You do have to go home at the end of the night. No waking up to dew-covered cabanas in the morning.

There will be no camp songs either, though there's no predicting whether some of the entertainment might just have the hint of, well, campiness. It's just part of the fun. Check out some of the features of this year's Chillounge:

The bars are cash only, so be sure to hit up the ATM before coming to the party. Tickets are still available online at chilloungenight.com for $20.

If you wait until the night of, tickets will be $25 at the entrance. VIP tickets are sold out. For parking, try the Baywalk garage first. Scattered street and paid lot parking is first come first serve.

It all kicks off at 6 p.m.
