Power Lounging at Chillounge

The outdoor cabanas, cash bars, gourmet food, live entertainment, models and fireworks display make it all worthwhile. Chillounge takes power lounging to new heights.

Chillounge Night made its way to St. Pete Saturday night. Straub Park played host to the annual event and once again, Rainer Scheer pulled it off with style.

Scheer thought up the outdoor event back in 2007. Four years later, Chillounge Night is a much-anticipated outdoor cocktail party in the park.

So, what exactly is Chillounge? Well, for starters it’s a one-of-a-kind event that takes place in select cities around the U.S. The night promises party goers something different.

Being a completely outdoor-based event is a gamble for Florida, considering how moody Mother Nature gets around this time of year. Instead of barstools, daybeds and cabanas are scattered throughout the park, so people can genuinely just “chill.”

Chillounge takes the night of entertainment one step further. A Brazilian Samba Parade and designer fashion show had everyone watching.

The cash bars, food service and fireworks display made it all worthwhile. Chillounge takes power lounging to new heights.

There is a little something for everyone at Chillounge Night and until next year, guests will savor the memory of the annual event.
