There are a number of reasons as to why I am seeking this school board seat:  1. I am relevant to this office which I am seeking. I am not a career politician, but I am a concerned citizen who has been through Pinellas county schools recently & I know how it feels to be a student that is negatively affected by decision made by school board officials.  2. I want to promote Student Centered Learning (Make students our main & only priority).  3. I want to bridge the gap between the community, schools, and parents.   

My three main priorities for the Pinellas County School Board are:  1. Focus on getting a variety of representation from community social groups, organizations, and businesses.   2. Pursue parent dialogue and input, not just during the budget process, but throughout the entire school year.   3. Devise a long-term plan for our schools.
