A 26-year-old Pinellas Park woman faces attempted murder charges after her mother was stabbed in the chest Wednesday morning.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — A 26-year-old Pinellas Park woman faces attempted first-degree murder charges after her mother was stabbed in the chest early Wednesday morning.
According to the Pinellas Park Police Department, officers were called to the 4000 block of 71st Terrace around 2:50 a.m. July 12. When they arrived, they found Amy Campbell, 42, suffering from a stab wound.
Police say Campbell was stabbed by her adult daughter Felicia Sherk, who was living in Campbell’s home. Investigators say the stabbing resulted following an eruption of an “ongoing family dispute over Sherk living in the residence.”
