Detectives: Woman Used Bank Card Stolen During Armed Robbery, Abduction
The woman and another suspect are accused of forcing a St. Petersburg man to ride with them at knifepoint as they made an ATM withdrawal using his bank card last month, police said.
Detectives are looking for a woman who they say used an ATM card that she and another suspect stole from a St. Petersburg man during an armed robbery and abduction last month.
Security photos show the woman at the ATM at TD Bank, at 22nd Avenue North and 4th Street in St. Petersburg, around 3 a.m. April 22.
The woman and another man are accused of taking the card from a 55-year-old man whom they had approached hours earlier outside his home in the 1700 block of 22nd Avenue North, according to St. Petersburg Police.

The victim was "mildly acquainted" with the woman but had never before come into contact with the other man, police say. The two suspects were invited into the victim's home, and at some point after midnight the male suspect pulled out a knife and forced the victim into his own SUV.
The suspects then took the man's ATM card, demanding his pin number, and forced the man to ride with them as they made a withdrawal. They then drove him back to his home, detectives said. The male suspect drove off with the man's SUV, while the woman left the area in a black sedan.

The SUV was later found burning and abandoned in the area of 28th Avenue North and 11th Street a short time later, police said.
Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying the woman or sharing any other information about the case. Detective Billy Crews can be reached at 727-893-7266, or confidential tips can be left at 727-892-5000.
