Drug, Gun Charges Land Convicted FL Felon In Federal Prison
A previously convicted felon in St. Pete was sentenced to federal prison on gun and drug charges, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A previously convicted felon was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison on drug and gun charges, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.
Rodrick Quinelle Dallas, 38, of St. Petersburg pleaded guilty in April to possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and distributing cocaine.
Dallas sold a gun and cocaine to an undercover officer from the St. Petersburg Police Department on Dec. 20, 2022, the DOJ said.

He received an enhanced sentence under the Armed Career Criminal Act based on his prior felony convictions for resisting an officer with violence and sale of cocaine.

The case, part of the Project Safe Neighborhoods Program, was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and St. Petersburg police.
