Elderly Man in Wheelchair Robbed Outside Walgreens
While the robbery itself is not on the surveillance video, the suspect is shown leaving the store shortly after the elderly man.
An 84-year-old wheelchair bound man had just made a purchase at Walgreens on Aug. 7 when he was robbed as soon as he exited the store.
According to St. Petersburg Police, the suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 35 years old, 5'10" - 6'00", 160lbs. -170lbs. He was wearing a collared black and white horizontal striped polo shirt, jeans and a black baseball cap with an unknown logo.
The suspect, police said, entered the store, 2195 66th St. N, and stood away from the line of customers, acting as if he was looking at merchandise near the check-out counter.

After making a purchase at the register, the 84-year-old wheelchair bound victim exited the store and was soon followed outside by the suspect.
Once outside, police said the suspect moved very quickly towards the victim and bumped into him with sufficient force to almost caused the wheelchair to tip over.

The suspect then ripped the victim's wallet off of his lap and fled the area on foot. The surveillance video shows the two leaving the store, not of the robbery itself.
