Elderly St. Petersburg Man Found
Breaking: St. Petersburg Police say the man was found near Myakka City.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department says Earl Vincent McKay has been located in Myakka City. The Silver Alert has been canceled.

St. Petersburg Police are asking Tampa Bay area residents to keep their eyes out for a missing elderly man described as endangered by authorities.

Earl Vincent McKay was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 at his home on 35th Terrace North. “He suffers from Alzheimer’s and may be delusional,” an email from the agency to media said.
McKay, 81, is described as standing 6-foot-1. He weighs an estimated 220 pounds and has blue eyes and gray hair. He is clean shaven.

Police say he was driving a four-door silver 2005 Hyundai Sonata with tag number UTA3S. The car has a rear bumper sticker that says “There are no ex-Marines,” police say.
Anyone with information about McKay’s whereabouts is asked to call the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780.
